The Bastei area with its numerous vantage points is one of the most visited attractions in the Saxon Switzerland. From here you have an extensive view over the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The lookout-point is at an altitude of 194 meters. The Basteibrücke leads to other view-points and the Felsburg Neurathen. At the top of the rock massif the Berghotel Bastei is located. From Lohmen by car or bus you have easy access to the viewpoint and the mountain hotel.

One of the oldest viewpoints Bohemian Switzerland is the panoramic terrace Belvedere. In a panoramic view of 360 degrees you look at the 150 m deeper Elbe Valley and also to the former theater venue on the terrace.
