Panorama Kuhstall

The panorama at the Kuhstall offers a view on the rear Saxon Switzerland with the Bärenfangwänden and the Kleiner Winterberg. Here are many popular hiking trails they wind through the rock formations. The hiking trails are located both at the foot of the rocks and along narrow ledges at a dizzy height. Unfamiliar with the area should always be wear by sturdy shoes and take to you plenty of water! The Kuhstall is the second largest natural arch in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains after the Prebischtor. It is located on the Neuer Wildenstein, a 337 m high rock, south of the Lichtenhainer Wasserfall and above the Kirnitzsch valley. In dry weather, you can watch the rock climbers for its adventurous ascents.
