Das Haus direkt am Malerweg im Stile der 30er Jahre ist schlicht und rustikal eingerichtet. Mit viel Holz und warmen Farbtönen versprüht die Pension den Charme einer gemütlichen Herberge zum Wandern und Klettern im Elbsandsteingebirge.
Eine Stube mit Kaminofen verbreitet zudem behagliche Baudenstimmung. Auf den Wanderer und Radfahrer warten 10 Zimmer auf drei Etagen. Das Hotel "Švýcarský dům" (Schweizer Hof) liegt im westlichen Teil der Böhmischen Schweiz, in etwa 600 m ü.M., nahe der Stadt Děčín (Tetschen), am Fuße des Hohen Schneeberges. Das Hotel wurde im Jahre 1893 eingeweiht, im Laufe der Zeit mehrmals rekonstruiert, zum letzten Mal in 2020.

The place is car-free, but for guests with car we have our own parking lot below the house (therefore stop at the prohibition sign).

Guests have been lodging in our Lindenhof hotel in Bad Schandau for more than one hundred years. In 1832, Prince Johann of Saxony visited our hotel for several days.
